Popcorn Fundraiser is Back!

For those popcorn lovers out there, we are once again running our Poppin’ Popcorn fundraiser this year from June 20th, 2022 to July 4th, 2022. Simply place your order online and you can get popcorn straight to your door. Whether you enjoy classic flavors like butter popcorn, caramel, or cheesy cheddar or you are interested in trying something more exotic, like cookies and cream, ranch, or strawberry shortcake, they’ve got something for everyone!

All proceeds from this event will help support the Tuition Assistance Program, which offers need-based scholarships to local families attending the NRC Child Development Center. Quality child care is so important to parents, but it is also expensive. One of the primary missions of the board of directors is to raise funds to allow all families the opportunity to take advantage of the Child Development Center here at the NRC.

This link is open to everyone! Please share this with family and friends who may be interested in all things sweet, savory, and crunchy!

Last year, we ended up raising $635 from our first annual popcorn fundraiser. This was an incredibly valuable opportunity for us to raise money for our tuition assistance program and help families. Thank you for all your support!

If you would like more information, please contact Joe Gillespie. We appreciate your support!

Thank You!

Thank you to everyone who participated in our Chipotle and Bake Sale fundraisers. With your help, we raised over $250 from our Chipotle Fundraiser and over $500 from our spring bake sale!!

Thank you Dr. Carrington

Dear Families,
By now, I’m sure you have seen the communication from Dr. Sayuri Carrington, Center Director, Georgetown Hill at the NRC and Mr. Peter Cromwell, CEO of Georgetown Hill. The NRC Child Development Center Board of Directors (the Board) shares with Georgetown Hill its appreciation of Dr. Sayuri Carrington’s tenure as Center Director.

We send a heartfelt thank you for her dedication to early childhood education, her steadfast service to the Georgetown Hill community, and her unwavering devotion to our children. Dr. Sayuri, you will be missed!

One of the most important duties that the Board holds is its general oversight of the Center to ensure that a quality child development program is provided. This oversight includes concurring with Georgetown Hill on the selection of the new Center Director. The Board looks forward to working with Georgetown Hill and families on a smooth transition in the near-term appointment of a new director and remains committed to the steadfast support of the new administration team’s efforts and success.

Sincerely,
